Ollagüe is a little town of 200 persons located in the Andean Plateau in Chile at about 3700m above sea level. Access to energy is difficult given the technical and geographical issues in the area. ENEL Green Power, a daughter of ENEL, a big global player in the Energy business, lead a microgrid installation project to supply the town with energy with a local system mainly running on renewables.

Energenious participated during the assessment of the system design, discovering transmission losses and providing insights on how to integrate and operate a more consistent amount of renewable.
